所谓GlobalTechStream（GTS)，就是丰田汽车提供的新一代故障诊断工具。与以往手持式故障诊断工具IT2不同，GTS为PC版的故障诊断工具。它由在Windows上工作的、作为故障诊断核心的GTS软件和实现了与车辆进行通信的VehicleInterfaceModule(VIM)所构成。利用GTS可实现在PC上进行故障的诊断，并可以在同一PC上查阅维修指南，不仅提高了操作性，还缩短了作业时间。

Global TechStream (GTS) is the next generation diagnostic tool developed by Toyota Motor Corporation.Unlike the current diagnostic tool, “Intelligent Tester II”, GTS is a PC-based diagnostic tool. It consists of two components: GTS software and Vehicle Interface Module (VIM). GTS software is at the core of the diagnostic tool, and VIM is the communication gateway between GTS software and vehicle’s ECUs. These components enable technicians to diagnose and reprogram the vehicles.
